DP Fabrications has a wealth of experience in the production of the specialized panels, from the manufacture of the panels themselves to the installation of the panel facia’s to the curved access plates in the tunnel roof.
These panels are made from varying thicknesses of stainless steel and are a very sturdy enclosure with a normal high ingress protection IP66.
Our first project in this field was the Round Hill tunnel in 1992, further projects followed such as new panels for the Lee tunnel in Cork and replacement facia's for the Mersey tunnel.
